I can never be the perfect mom. I have my flaws. Its my first time. There's still room for improvement, right? It's hard, you bet. Its soooo hard, and yet, it feels soooo good.
I have yet to experience the real challenge of being a successful mommy. But through these years(just two for now..), i have learned so many already. Whew! What more after 20? This is an exceptional career... :)
I guess its never too late to share my most priced moments with my cute little boy Mico Lorenzo with all of you just yet. Thanks to my fellow 'mommy multipliers' who gave me inspiration to brag about the one gift that is a blessing to us all. Truly, a reward.
Things have changed. Drastically. Especially now that Mico is here. I'm sure a lot of first time moms like me would agree on which things has to be given up for their child. Even if we can say its sacrifice.. somehow, a little "lambing" pays for it. Then, I can say, "it's worth it".
Here are the things I never thought I could ever love doing before Mico came.
...he makes me want to wake up early every morning to greet him. Though tired or still sleepy, you know you just have to rise up and start another day with him.. gladly!
...i would watch his favorite tv show instead of the daily news. would probably know better the cast of Johnny and the Sprites than the violence in Mindanao.
...while in the car, you play "the wheels on the bus" or "ring-a-round the rosie" instead of your favorite songs.
...shopping was more fun in small(kid) sizes.
...at 8 o'clock, i'm already sleepy.
...i leave the house with much for stuffs to bring.. my bag, his bag, the stroller, the pillows(he can't sleep without), etc. etc!
...i was very impatient. i guess i'm not anymore!
...too much to mention. :)
At this age, the terrible two as they say, is indeed terrible. But somehow, it makes me happy that someone, like this cute little boy is completely changing my life and inspiring me more to live each day to the fullest. And I am happy that out of my imperfections, trying-so-hard to be perfect mommy, (who will never be perfect) tries my best to be the best mom for my Mico.

Time really flies by so fast. I remember just yesterday when i was pushing him with this trike. He just couldnt push the pedals. But now... he already knows how. Hep, hep Hurray for Mico!
